The army remained silent about the origin of the drones and missiles and the targets of the attacks. However, since the US-Israeli attacks on Iran began at the end of February, the Islamic Republic’s armed forces have fired such missiles several times at Kuwait and other Persian Gulf states.
The US military maintains numerous bases there, which are only a few hundred kilometers away from Iran as the crow flies. Despite the ceasefire, the Gulf states had also recently reported isolated shelling. (sda/dpa)
