Collien Fernandes wants to look forward again after the serious allegations against her ex-husband Christian Ulmen: The actress and presenter said in an interview on RTL-“Exclusiv” on Sunday that she had not given up hope of being able to trust again.
In an interview with presenter Frauke Ludowig, the 44-year-old explained that she continues to believe “that there are decent guys out there.” At the same time, she has become more cautious: “I’m really amazed that I’m able to trust so much again,” said Fernandes. And further: “I’m not giving up quickly, but I’m checking a little more closely.”
Investigations against Christian Ulmen
Collien Fernandes and Christian Ulmen have been married since 2011. They announced their separation in September 2025 and the marriage was divorced in Palma in February 2026. The two have a daughter together. Fernandes made serious allegations against her ex-husband public for the first time as part of a major “Spiegel” investigation. Fernandes accuses Ulmen of having created fake profiles in her name over the years and using them to communicate with numerous men. According to Fernandes, he is said to have distributed digitally generated pornographic content that resembled her.
Last week, the Potsdam public prosecutor’s office publicly announced that it had initiated an investigation against Ulmen for domestic violence. Ulmen has not yet commented publicly on the allegations. The presumption of innocence applies.
“The decent guys have to be loud”
Fernandes also spoke about equality in the interview. She said: “I just think the neat guys have to be loud. And that’s why I was happy that so many men were out there on Father’s Day and said: ‘We are loud, we want equality’.” An equal society can only function if men and women want it together.
For the future, Fernandes would like to “of course be in a happy relationship, where hopefully things won’t happen secretly that I don’t know about.” This also includes a beautiful family life, as she has always wanted.
Whether this life takes place on Mallorca or somewhere else is up to her. Fernandes said: “I’m trying not to get too stuck right now. Simply because you don’t know exactly where the journey is going.”
She also hopes that something will change socio-politically: “That people have the feeling that I no longer have to fight this battle. You just put the train on the right track and it continues on its own, and I can just eat ice cream, lie on the beach, with someone who is good for me.”
