The dead sea creature weighed around two tons, which is why the crane was the last hope of removing it from the beach. Other measures taken had previously failed, according to a news reportagency writes from Uganda.
The whale’s carcass will now be buried in a secure area of land. He would still be guarded there for the first few days. The organization Greenpeace Africa said after the whale’s death that the population should see this as a warning that marine animals are increasingly suffering from climate change and environmental pollution.
