According to Russian reports, at least three people have died in Ukrainian drone attacks on the Moscow region.

At least four other people were injured during the night, wrote the governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, in his Telegram channel. In addition, several houses and apartments were damaged and caught fire. Infrastructure facilities were also attacked in several communities.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported on Telegram early this morning that more than 120 drones had been shot down in the past 24 hours. At least twelve people were injured in the capital, mostly workers near an oil refinery. Several houses were damaged. The information could not initially be independently verified. Later, in a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, there was even talk of a total of 556 Ukrainian drones being shot down.
Drone attacks in Crimea also reported
Ukraine also attacked the Russian-occupied naval city of Sevastopol on the Crimean peninsula during the night, damaging several apartment blocks and houses, according to authorities. In addition, debris from a downed drone hit a high-voltage line, causing power outages, wrote the city’s head of administration, Mikhail Razvoshayev, on the Telegram platform. The city’s power plant was not hit.
A total of 25 drones were shot down over several parts of the city and the Black Sea, Rasvoshayev wrote. According to preliminary information, no one was injured. This information could not initially be independently verified.
Russia annexed the Ukrainian peninsula in 2014. More than four years ago, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. In the war that has been going on since then, Ukraine has repeatedly attacked Russian targets in Crimea with drones, among other things.
On Wednesday and Thursday, Russia carried out one of the longest and heaviest air strikes on Ukraine. In Kyiv alone, 24 dead people were rescued from a destroyed apartment block.
