Since the start of the war in the Middle East, AI-generated propaganda videos have been circulating on social media en masse, both from the USA and Iran.
A certain type of propaganda video from Iran is currently going particularly viral. These are Lego rap clips with anti-Western, political content that primarily focus on US President Donald Trump. The Epstein Files are also repeatedly discussed in the clips. The videos are in English to generate targeted international attention and reach millions of clicks.
The clips are controversial online. Many users celebrate Iran for fighting Trump online with its own weapons. Others criticize that the tone of the videos is irreverent because it is a war and people are dying.
While Iran relies on Lego clips, the White House is staging the war as a Nintendo game with real images of attacks. These videos also generate views and shares in the millions.
Some users called on Nintendo to sue the government. According to Forbes, Nintendo has not yet commented publicly on this.
