During a meeting, the US President spoke for almost eight minutes about the renovation of the “Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool”. This is currently being improved so that it should look the way Donald Trump would like.

Trump also mentioned that the pool or lake, as he said, would be longer than the largest building in the world if it were laid sideways. This is not true. The pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial is 2,028 feet, or 618 meters long.
The tallest building in the world is currently the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. This measures 2,717 feet (approx. 828 meters) and is therefore higher or longer than the pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial. (nib)
