A ten-year-old is said to have shot a baby in the head in the USA – he is now charged with murder.

In the US state of Missouri, a ten-year-old boy is said to have shot a seven-month-old baby. According to St. Louis police, officers were called to the scene on Friday.
The cops found the shot baby in the house and took him to the nearest hospital in a patrol car. But any help came too late and the little girl died.
Murder charges against man and child
According to US media reports, the alleged shooter has been charged with first-degree murder. The 10-year-old was arrested. During interrogation, he is said to have stated that he knew where he could find a weapon in the house. The gun was lying under the mattress of the baby’s 19-year-old father. The ten-year-old had touched the weapon there before and also taken it into his hands.
On Friday, the boy is said to have shot the baby in the head, it was said. The infant’s 19-year-old father is now charged with, among other things, endangering the welfare of a child resulting in death and second-degree murder.
The relationship between the ten-year-old and the baby was not yet known. According to local TV station First Alert 4, the boy is the youngest person ever charged with first-degree murder in the US state of Missouri.
