A new TGV line is scheduled to connect the cities of Basel and Brussels from July 2027. The line also offers connections to London and the Netherlands.

The planned connection is an extension of the existing TGV Inoui between Brussels and Strasbourg, as the SBB, the French SNCF Voyageurs and the Belgian SNCB jointly announced on Friday. A return trip is planned on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
According to the announcement, the train starts in Brussels at around 7 a.m. and reaches Basel SBB at around 12:30 p.m. On the way he stops, among others, in Lille, at Paris Roissy Airport and in Strasbourg.
The return journey from Basel is scheduled for 2 p.m., with arrival in the Belgian capital around 7 p.m. By changing in Lille, travelers can reach London at 8 p.m. (UK time), it said.
Tickets are scheduled to go on sale in spring 2027. (dab/sda)
