In the sex offender Jeffrey Epstein scandal, the British Ministry of Defense is investigating a possible connection to Royal Air Force (RAF) bases.

Specifically, it is suspected that Epstein used air force airfields to smuggle young women and girls into Great Britain, as the PA news agency reported, citing the Ministry of Defense.
Ministry officials should examine military documents that are more than two decades old and hand over relevant files to the police. The multimillionaire, who died in custody in 2019, had run an abuse ring for years with a still unknown high number of victims.
The investigation aims to ensure “that all information about Epstein’s crimes is uncovered and made available to the relevant authorities,” said a spokesman for the ministry, according to PA. It is therefore not unusual for RAF airfields to also be used by private jets.
The London Met Police had announced that it was investigating possible connections between Epstein and British airports. The focus is also on the Northolt military airfield. Essex County Police are also currently investigating whether Epstein allowed London Stansted Airport to be used as a hub for trafficking victims of abuse.
According to Sky broadcaster, several emails from the recently published Epstein files suggest that the multimillionaire used the two RAF airfields Northolt and Marham at least four times between 2000 and 2019. (sda/dpa)
