The “terrorist” was shot the day before after he opened fire on Israeli soldiers in the Bint Jbail area, the Armed Forces (IDF) said on its Telegram channel on Wednesday. Accordingly, the army searched a structure within the security zone of the area where an IDF reservist was seriously wounded last Thursday.
The attacker’s fire was immediately returned and no one was injured on the Israeli side during the renewed operation in the area. “The IDF will continue to take measures to eliminate any threat to its troops and will not allow the terrorist organization Hezbollah to harm Israeli civilians,” the Israeli army said.
