No details are yet known about the exact contents and conditions of the agreement. The key issues are the handling of enriched Iranian uranium and the intended regulation for the future in the Strait of Hormuz. In this regard, the framework agreement that has now been concluded should be the starting point for in-depth discussions between Washington and Tehran.
In addition to the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz, the agreement is reportedly intended to extend the – fragile and repeatedly broken – ceasefire by 60 days and be the starting point for negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program.
Israel’s position in the conflict with Hezbollah in Lebanon is not yet known. The two parties had recently continued to fight each other.

With the opening of the strait after the signing of the agreement on Friday for the purpose of demining, oil will flow again at both ends for the region and the world! said Trump in his usual exuberant style.
