A 47-year-old woman hit three children with her car in Dinslaken, western Germany, two of whom died.

The authorities said they were 12-year-old boys who succumbed to their serious injuries in a clinic. The third child was therefore slightly injured. The children were on bicycles – probably on the way to school.
The driver suffered serious injuries. She had veered out of her lane to the left for an unknown reason. Like the children, she came to the clinic in an ambulance. A specialized accident investigation team was deployed to investigate the accident.
Car crashes into parked car
The accident reportedly occurred around 7:45 a.m. The woman lost control of her car for initially unknown reasons and hit the children with the car. The car then crashed into three parked cars and caused significant damage to them, according to a police spokesman. In the busy neighborhood near a school, several people witnessed the event.
