In Argentina, the head of cabinet of ultra-liberal President Javier Milei resigned after months of allegations of illicit enrichment.
“I was treated as a criminal and corrupt, even though I cannot be accused of a single incident of corruption,” said Manuel Adorni, explaining his resignation in a letter. The allegations are just lies.
The public prosecutor’s office had opened an investigation into Adorni, who had held the office of head of cabinet since November and was previously government spokesman.
