After it emerged that Sarah Ferguson had personal contact with the sex offender even after Jeffrey Epstein’s conviction, she is now coming into focus again. The ex-wife of former Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is said to have contacted Epstein directly with an unusual request.

According to the British newspaper Mail on Sunday, this emerges from emails from newly published Epstein documents. The news comes from 2010 – a year in which the US investor Epstein was under house arrest for inciting minors to engage in prostitution.
In one of the emails, Ferguson is said to have written: “I don’t understand why you don’t just hire me as your housekeeper. I am the most capable and need the money urgently. Please, Jeffrey, think about it.” The then Duchess of York turned directly to Epstein.

According to the newspaper, it wasn’t just a single message. In a later email, Ferguson said: “I feel very traumatized and alone. I want to work for you and keep your houses in order.” In December she wrote again: “When are you going to hire me? My friendship lasts until the end, even when the body is cold. I love you now and forever. And I know you love me too.”
As the paper further reports, these expressions of affection are said to have upset Ghislaine Maxwell in particular. Epstein’s longtime confidant is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence in Texas. Internally, Epstein reportedly did not return the Duchess’s messages and instead made derogatory comments about her. His real interest was in Andrew.
A spokesman for Sarah Ferguson declined to comment on the reports. The 66-year-old had previously described her previous friendship with Epstein as a “mistake in judgment”.
