US President Donald Trump said during a speech at the Detroit Economic Forum in Michigan on January 13 that he deviates from the teleprompter 80 percent of the time. This statement fits: During the hour-long appearance, which was supposed to be about the economy of the United States, the 79-year-old digressed so often that he ultimately felt like he was talking more about everything other than the topic.
From geopolitics to the ICE operation in Minnesota to hostility towards his political opponents, Joe Biden and the “fake news” media, everything was discussed – we have edited and translated a few of the craziest moments of the speech for you here:

The words that Trump said during the speech about the economy were superlative. No economy would have ever experienced such a turnaround as that of the USA under his leadership. It was historic, said Trump. Especially when you consider how catastrophically bad everything was under his predecessor Joe Biden.
The US President was full of praise for himself – and didn’t miss a chance to shoot down his opponents. The head of the US central bank, Jerome Powell, also got his fat off again. Only at the weekend did he accuse Trump of trying to intimidate him. During the appearance, the US President again referred to him as a “jerk”, i.e. an idiot or idiot.
The large-scale ICE operation in Minnesota, which is currently causing a stir in the United States, was also discussed. On January 7th, a US citizen was shot dead in her car, which sparked protests across the country. Instead of de-escalating, the president and his administration are inflaming the situation by sending even more ICE personnel to the region.

Trump said in his speech that ICE is fighting “hundreds of the world’s worst criminals” in Minnesota. It’s full of murderers and child molesters. He dismissed the uprisings as “fake” and orchestrated. People would meet in hotel rooms and practice together before taking to the streets, said the US President. (lzo)
