A Swiss man who lives in Thailand and suffers from dementia disappeared without a trace four days ago. His wife reported him missing. Now there was a happy reunion.

A Swiss man disappeared for four days. The man lives with his Thai wife in the northeast of the country and suffers from dementia Khaosod reported. On Christmas Day he got on his motorbike and disappeared.
His wife finally reported him missing. On Sunday evening, the same Swiss man appeared again – 250 kilometers from his home in Lom Sak.
Two keys, but no passport
Local residents discovered the wandering Swiss man and accompanied him to the police. He seemed confused and couldn’t communicate with people. He didn’t have any identification on him and couldn’t give his name. The police only found two keys on him – one for a Ford car and one for a Honda motorcycle. Even a translator couldn’t help with identification.
The police looked after the man and posted an appeal on social media. Eventually she received information that the man had been seen a little earlier with a blue Honda Scoopy that had a license plate from northeast Thailand.
Happy New Year ending
It turned out that the man had gotten lost on his trip and had to abandon the motorcycle because he had run out of gas, the police write. Thanks to the license plate, she was finally able to locate his family and inform his wife. She picked up the Swiss man in Lom Sak and thanked the police for the “New Year’s gift”.
