US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance’s endorsement of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban does not constitute “meddling” in Hungary’s parliamentary elections, the US ambassador to the EU said on Thursday. Trump last month said nationalist Orban had his “complete and total” support while Vance stumped with Orban in Budapest earlier this week.
