The trial against the alleged pedocriminal “White Tiger”, who became known by his forum name, has begun in the German metropolis of Hamburg.
The public prosecutor’s office accuses the 21-year-old German-Iranian of more than 200 crimes, including one completed and five attempted murders – committed indirectly on the Internet.

His victims are said to be over 30 children and young people from Germany, England, Canada and the USA, among others. A young Finnish woman – who is also said to have been abused by him – was admitted as a co-plaintiff.
A total of 82 hearing dates have been scheduled for the trial until December.
The process takes place behind closed doors
The defendant, who, according to the public prosecutor’s office, was the head of the international sadist network “764”, is said to have committed the crimes between January 2021 and September 2023.
Since he was still a teenager or adolescent at the time, the hearing took place before a youth chamber of the court behind closed doors.
He also sometimes used his victims as tools to mistreat others. (symbol image)Image: Shutterstock
According to the public prosecutor’s office, the defendant specifically searched for mentally unstable children and young people in Internet forums in order to gain their trust and then abuse them.
He blackmailed her with pornographic images and videos and forced her to self-harm in front of the camera – even committing suicide. He also sometimes used his victims as tools to abuse other children and young people.
“White Tiger” lawyer calls allegations baseless
He is said to have driven a 13-year-old boy from the USA to suicide. According to charges, a 14-year-old Canadian girl tried to kill herself.
Before the trial began, the 21-year-old’s defense attorney once again rejected the allegations as baseless and fabricated. She called the prosecution, which assumes double indirect perpetratorship in the murder charge, “experimental”.
“This construct of this so-called indirect perpetrator is, as the word suggests, a construction that is factually flawed here and could not be proven,” said defense attorney Christiane Yüksel.
The defendant is said to have been beaten up by fellow prisoners
According to her, her client was beaten up by fellow prisoners while in custody on Thursday.
After he was taken from the Hahnöfersand youth correctional center to the remand prison in Hamburg, several prisoners beat him in a collection cell, the lawyer said.
According to their client, they shouted “White Tiger, White Tiger”. The 21-year-old was arrested in his parents’ apartment in Hamburg in mid-June last year and has been in custody ever since. (sda/dpa)
