Just two days before his suicide, Jeffrey Epstein changed his will. The newly published files now show who he wanted to leave his 630 million fortune to. However, these people will hardly receive anything.

Epstein’s girlfriend and fiancée at the time, Karyna Shuliak, was supposed to get the biggest piece of the pie: a diamond ring weighing more than 32 carats, 48 diamonds, $100 million and his real estate – such as his apartments in Manhattan and Paris, the ranch in New Mexico and the two private islands like that Business Insider reported.
But Shuliak is only one of 43 beneficiaries of the will. The remainder was to receive $230 million. Epstein’s long-time personal lawyer Darren Indyke was to receive 50 million, his accountant Richard Kahn was given 25 million.
Another seven names are blacked out. They should receive between three and ten million dollars. Epstein’s assistant Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently in prison, was also set to receive $10 million. Epstein’s brother Mark was to receive a $10 million trust fund to benefit his children. Mark Epstein told Business Insider that he didn’t know anything about it.
The mention of the two children of the former Norwegian ambassador to the United Nations, Mona Juul, in the will also caused a stir. They should inherit a total of 8.5 million euros. Juul has now been relieved of her duties, the State Department announced. Juul is now the chief diplomat in Jordan.

In addition, some of Epstein’s employees are also taken into account in the will. But only if they were not fired by his lawyer or the accountant after Epstein’s death. However, the employees would not be pressured not to cooperate with the authorities, said a lawyer for the two.
Epstein’s net worth was $630 million when he took his own life. However, the people named in his will will hardly ever see any of the money: it will be used to compensate victims. (front)
