The operator Stromnetz Berlin announced this on its website. It will probably take until Thursday afternoon for everyone affected to be back online.

Do not charge electric cars
For example, appliances such as washing machines or dryers should not be used at first. “Charging electric vehicles via the home wallbox should also be stopped for the time being,” as it was said. For this purpose, charging points outside the affected districts should be used.
Due to an arson attack on a cable bridge in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district of Berlin, presumably motivated by left-wing extremists, entire neighborhoods in the southwest of the German capital have been without power for days in freezing temperatures. On Saturday morning, 45,000 households and 2,200 companies were initially without power. (sda/dpa)
