The Thames Valley Police had the younger brother of King Charles III. arrested last week in connection with his connection to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (66) had to move out of the Royal Lodge, a luxurious property on the castle grounds, during the scandal. The police also carried out searches there at the weekend. The former prince is accused of misconduct in public office. He is said to have passed on information to US financier Epstein in his previous role as trade representative.

Andrew’s involvement in the scandal had left Britain in turmoil – the first time a senior member of the royal family had been arrested in more than 350 years. The king’s brother has not yet commented on the current development. Andrew had always denied previous allegations of alleged sexual offenses.
Heir to the throne William at the film awards
On Monday morning, the British media reported on an investigation by the London Metropolitan Police. The core issue here is whether British airports were used in Epstein’s alleged human trafficking with private jets. The focus is also on the Northolt military airfield. The multimillionaire, who died in custody in 2019, had run an abuse ring for years with a still unknown high number of victims.

The appearance of heir to the throne Prince William and his wife Kate at the British Film Awards ceremony received particular attention among the British on Sunday evening. Charles’ son – and Andrew’s nephew – was asked if he had seen the award-winning drama Hamnet yet. “I must be in a pretty calm state, and I’m not at the moment,” William replied. He saves the film.
