The Kilauea volcano erupted on the US island of Hawaii on Tuesday, March 10th. As a result of the eruption, two craters spewed lava up to 400 meters into the air.
The volcano is located in a national park on the largest Hawaiian island, the Big Island.

As a result of the volcanic eruption, the national park and the adjacent highway were temporarily closed. The reason for this was rubble and ash falling from the sky.
Kilauea Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the world. It has been erupting repeatedly since December 2024. In the past 200 years, the volcano has erupted a total of 43 times.
How long the current eruption will last is still unclear. (nib)
