After Donald Trump lost the presidential election to Democratic challenger Joe Biden in 2020, there was only one explanation in the MAGA world: the election must have been rigged. The outgoing president desperately searched for votes that were supposedly not counted or “missing.” This was also the case in the state of Georgia, where he was around 11,000 votes short of victory.
Five years later, Trump continues to stand by his narrative. Just a few weeks ago, the FBI confiscated documents relating to the 2020 election in the presence of Trump’s intelligence coordinator Tulsi Gabbard – but so far without presenting any new information.
This week, however, the election board in Georgia spoke out. After our own investigations, we came to the conclusion that there were indeed violations of voting rights – but not in 2020 and not by the Democrat Biden.
Musk organization illegally sent postal voting applications
The violations occurred in 2024, the year Trump was elected for the second time. And this time the violations are said to come from the environment of one of his most prominent supporters: the multi-billionaire Elon Musk, who had intensively promoted Trump’s MAGA movement at the time.
Specifically, it’s about the political action committee America PAC, which was founded in 2024 with the aim of helping Trump get re-elected. The committee was founded by Musk and like-minded people. According to the election committee, America PAC is said to have violated applicable election law. Accordingly, postal voting applications were sent, some of which had already been pre-filled with sensitive personal data from voters.
In addition, the organization failed to clearly indicate on the documents that they were not official documents from state authorities, but rather materials from a political organization. According to the committee, this also represents a violation of the electoral law.
Musk’s America PAC in its sights
The election board issued a formal reprimand to America PAC. This has no criminal consequences, but can serve as a basis for civil legal action.
America PAC was already targeted by the authorities in the election year. The organization offered voters the chance to win $1 million if they signed a petition. This spoke out in favor of freedom of expression and the right to own weapons. According to the organization, the winners should be determined by lottery.
In addition, there were also reportedly payments to sign and distribute the petition. However, reportedly only a fraction of these monetary promises were fulfilled. There is also an accusation that the alleged “lottery” had pre-selected winners. There is currently ongoing legal proceedings against America PAC.
