The EUDIS Hackathon Autumn 2025 edition brought together Europe’s most promising innovators to address critical challenges in space and defence. This third edition of the EUDIS Hackathon, themed “Technologies for Space and Defence”, took place from 17 to 19 October 2025 across eight European locations – the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Spain.
Over the course of an intensive weekend, 471 participants from EU Member States, Norway and Ukraine collaborated to design and pitch 129 innovative solutions, fostering cross-border cooperation and strengthening links between Europe and Ukraine in the defence and space domains.
Following the conclusion of the Autumn edition in October 2025, eight local winning teams, one from each host country, went through mentoring programme and were invited to take part in an EU-wide live pitching competition held on 14 January 2026.
The top three winners of the EU-wide pitching competition will be invited to attend a major European defence, startup or innovation event, where they will present their solutions to industry leaders, investors and public authorities.
