At the end of the press conference, Macron and Takaichi took the famous “Kamehameha” pose of the character Son Goku from the manga “Dragon Ball”.
Macron himself is a big fan of anime and manga, as French media reports. In 2021, the French president received a drawing of the anime “One Piece” signed by the author and proudly shared it on social media.
The state visit was actually about strengthening the relationship between the two countries. Among other things, strengthening the economy and the war in the Middle East were discussed. (nib)
