They are said to have drugged and sexually abused a five-year-old boy: France’s justice system is now investigating ten men.
The boy’s father is said to have established contact with the men, according to the Lille public prosecutor’s office. He is accused of incest and complicity.
The abuse is said to have taken place during a so-called “chemsex” evening. “Chemsex” usually means hours of sex under the influence of psychoactive substances such as cocaine, ketamine, ecstasy or crystal meth. The father is also said to have been raped and abused while under drugs that evening.
Specifically, the judiciary is investigating ten men between the ages of 29 and 50. Almost all of them were taken into custody. One of the men has since died. The public prosecutor’s office also accused some of them of sexual assault on a pet in the preliminary investigation.
The police were called in because of the alleged acts in Lille last February. The investigation covers the period from November 2024 to February 2025. The child is now in the care of his mother. The father’s custody and visitation rights were suspended. (hkl/sda/dpa)
