It was well documented in 2007 that Jeffrey Epstein sexually abused underage women. However, Trump’s later labor secretary made a deal with Epstein.

The documents surrounding Jeffrey Epstein, newly published on Friday, show: The later convicted sex offender could have been sentenced to life in prison as early as 2007. The news agency reports about this AP.
Accordingly, the public prosecutor’s office prepared such an indictment after several underage women testified that they had been paid by Epstein for sexualized massages.
Used condoms disposed of
A personal assistant to Epstein is cited in the documents released on Friday. His regular tasks included keeping cash in $100 bills in Epstein’s bedroom.
He had to clean up after the massages. That meant, among other things: disposing of used condoms. The employee’s name is blacked out in the files.
Deal with the prosecutor’s office
Over 50 women testified against Epstein at the time. However, he was not charged: the then Attorney General in Miami, Alexander Acosta, made a deal with Epstein.
Epstein escaped prosecution and in return pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor into prostitution. For this he received a year and a half prison sentence.
Acosta served as Secretary of Labor during Donald Trump’s first term. He was forced to resign in 2019 due to his role in the Epstein scandal.
