As soon as the agreement between the USA and Iran was signed, the Strait of Hormuz was closed again. This emerges from a document published by the Iranian regime’s Maritime Security Agency.

Warning shots were reportedly fired in the strait. In addition, the Iranian regime is said to have radioed ships not to approach the Strait of Hormuz.
There are said to be two central reasons for the closure: On the one hand, Iran is supposed to insist on a ceasefire in Lebanon too – but Israel is still carrying out attacks there. Furthermore, the USA is said to have not completely lifted the naval blockade against Iran. There is no official confirmation on this yet.
“The Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until these two conditions are met,” said a radio message from the Revolutionary Guard on a shipping radio channel in which ships are warned about crossing the strait. According to analysts, ships that ignore the ban will be threatened with an attack.
