While rapper Diddy is in prison, his lawyers have their hands full again. In addition, a leaked sex tape is causing a stir. Also thanks to 50 Cent.

Since his conviction for coercion into prostitution, Sean Combs, aka Diddy’s lawyers, have been fighting for his early release. He is currently scheduled to be released on April 15, 2028. But the work for his team doesn’t get any less. According to the celebrity platform TMZ new investigations are underway.
Jonathan Hay, a former public relations executive, claims Diddy sexually assaulted him. In 2020 he was in a room with him when the rapper masturbated into a shirt of his late friend, rapper The Notorious BIG. He then allegedly asked Hay to please him and threw the shirt at him.
In 2021 he met Diddy again. This time the rapper is said to have called him a “traitor” and forced him to put his penis in his mouth. The Los Angeles police investigated for months and eventually turned the case over to the district attorney’s office. This is now checking whether further charges will be brought.

Ex-girlfriend filmed without consent?
At the same time, Diddy’s name is also causing a stir elsewhere. Last weekend, a leaked sex tape surfaced from Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy, who he dated from 2021 until his arrest in 2024. It is said to show the model having sex with a porn actor while the rapper watches.
In a statement, Joy described the video as “abuse.” She never agreed to be filmed: “Everyone makes mistakes sometimes, and I was the biggest idiot. I just wanted my then partner to be happy and content. I wanted to fulfill his every wish – even if it meant exceeding my own limits. I loved him with all my heart and believed he loved me too.”
It is not entirely clear who leaked the video. Joy doesn’t name any names and only speaks of “the person in the video” – probably the porn actor. He threatened to post the material online if she didn’t pay him money. When she refused, he allegedly tried to sell it to a media conglomerate. “When it became clear that it was revenge porn and blackmail, they stopped broadcasting it,” writes Joy.

50 Cent isn’t just taking shots at Diddy
Meanwhile, 50 Cent uses the situation to once again make fun of his long-time rival. The rapper, who has been feuding with Diddy for years, posted screenshots of the alleged video on Instagram with the comment: “Free Diddy, he’s already been through enough because he was born without a penis. LOL.”
But then he changes his tone and also deals it to Daphne Joy. He and the model dated between 2011 and 2012 and have a son together. He is now the one suffering from the leak: “She is not a victim. Can you imagine finding out in eighth grade that this is your mother? The Los Angeles court system thinks this is fine.” With the last sentence he is probably alluding to the legal dispute he is having with Joy. Because yes, there is another chapter to this matter.

Joy sued 50 Cent in 2013 for domestic violence and vandalism. Most of the counts were dropped, but he was still sentenced to probation and violent therapy. He was also banned from contacting Joy.
In 2024, she accused him of raping and abusing her during their relationship – which he rejected as “wrong” and “baseless”. In return, he sued her for defamation and accused her of trying to manipulate his application for custody of their son. Because after Joy’s name came up in the investigation against Diddy, 50 Cent wanted to bring his son over.
Fans disagree in the comments. Some blame Daphne Joy for the video. “She knew what she was doing,” says a comment on Instagram. Others warn 50 Cent not to get involved: “Your child has already been through enough.”
