The Iran war, the Epstein affair and also Greenland: unknown people are using a satirical video game to draw attention to many explosive issues during US President Donald Trump’s second term in office. In the role-playing game “Operation Epic Furious: Strait To Hell” – probably based on the US offensive “Epic Fury” against Iran – everyone can slip into the role of the Republican. It can be played both online and at three machines at a war memorial in Washington.
“Oh. Another of your decrees has been stopped»
The game starts off cynically: “Oh. Another of your decrees was stopped by the courts.” Players can then decide whether to order a Diet Coke or invade Iran. Trump’s deputy JD Vance bluntly asks whether he can be president yet – only to assure Trump in another conversation that he has filled out “a few more” test forms that certify Trump’s good mental judgment.

The game refers to numerous current details and is designed with numerous inside jokes. First Lady Melania, for example, says: “I WAS NEVER ON BOARD THE EPSTEIN JET! Have you already burned the files?”. In mid-April, she unexpectedly appeared before the press to make a memorable appearance denying any closeness to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
There are also fight scenes in the game.Image: Screenshot X
Greenland becomes “Trumplandia”
On his fictitious trip to Iran, Trump also flies past Greenland, which he had ambitions to take over at the beginning of the year. The largest island in the world is known as “Trumplandia”.
In parts, the game is also very reminiscent of the classic Pokémon: In a fight, for example, Trump can fight or choose TACO – an acronym for “Trump Always Chickens Out”. What this means is that, from the perspective of his critics, the president often backs down, despite previous threats against political opponents. (nil/sda/dpa)
