In a large-scale advertising campaign, the Swiss toilet paper millionaire Beat Mörker financed refueling for 152 families from Berlin on Saturday. As the “Bild” newspaper reports, there was also a little extra for the families: pink toilet paper rolls from Mörker’s company.
According to “Bild”, the families are happy about the campaign. One of the recipients explained: “A full tank helps the children do more. You can do something there again.”
The Total gas station in Berlin-Charlottenburg was specially decorated for the campaign. The gas station was decorated with pink balloons, and the employees also wore pink safety vests.
As the “Bild” newspaper writes, a total of 4,788 liters of free fuel were used on Saturday. The gasoline is said to have cost Mörker around 10,000 euros. The owner of the promotional gas station also took part: According to the report, he treated the customers to bratwursts and licorice.
