Whether “Winnetou”, “The Tin Drum” or “Momo”: Mario Adorf has starred in numerous classics of German film. Now the actor has died at the age of 95. His management confirms this to the “Bild” newspaper. After a short illness, he fell asleep at home in Paris on Wednesday morning.
The actor previously wanted to thank his audience for their loyalty over the years, said his manager Michael Stark. In his over 200 roles he often played villains. But even as these he couldn’t just portray things in black and white, but could always give them something human.
