Several tons of Kit Kats were stolen in Italy at the weekend. Now the company is reacting – and declaring war on the criminals.

After the weekend in Italy a entire truck full of Kit Kats was stolenthe chocolate bar brand sets out to solve the case itself. Users can now access a “KitKat tracker” on the KitKat homepage. A serial number should be used to identify whether your bar is part of the stolen goods.
In an Instagram post, the chocolate bar brand asserts that it is not an April Fool’s joke. On the website, the brand calls on users to spread the tracker – and thus help with the search.
A total of 12 tons of chocolate bars are said to have been found in the truck – or, to put it another way, 413,793 candy packages. According to the company, the bars were intended for several countries. The truck was therefore on its way from Italy Poland.
Kitkat belongs to the Swiss company Nestlé. As the brand announced, there should be no bottlenecks.
