LONDON — The former Conservative MP Crispin Blunt has pleaded guilty to possessing illegal drugs, including cannabis and crystal meth.
Blunt, the MP for Reigate between 1997 and 2024 and briefly a Prisons Minister in David Cameron’s government, appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday following drug charges.
After a raid on his Surrey home in 2023, the former MP was found with the chemical sedative GBL, cannabis, methamphetamine, and the drug commonly known as crystal meth.
