The governor of the US state of California, Gavin Newsom, called US President Donald Trump a “complete idiot” during a live podcast appearance.

The governor also said about Trump that what the president posts on social media is scary and crazy. He is referring to AI-generated photos that show Trump as Superman or the Pope.

Newsom also finds it nonsensical that Trump publishes videos that were generated by artificial intelligence. He talks about videos that portray the war in the Middle East as a video game.
Newsom says US soldiers have died and many more have sustained long-term injuries, and the only thing the US president posts are AI videos. The governor calls this insane.
Gavin Newsom mockingly mentions that this is the same 80-year-old man who calls him “Newscum.” As a child, an 8-year-old boy called him that to bully him.
The US President and the Governor of California have already had debates in the past. Earlier this week, Donald Trump said Newsom was a potential Democratic nominee for president in 2028. He added that this was ridiculous since Newsom is dyslexic. Recently, President Trump told reporters in the Oval Office that “everything” about Gavin Newsom was stupid. However, Trump incorrectly referred to Newsom as President of the USA.
He then thanked Donald Trump via the social media platform X.
