As soon as the doors opened, people in Taipei crowded into the bakery. Everyone is after the viral crepe cake in the Dubai chocolate edition.
The creation from luxury bakery Lady M consists of more than 20 thin layers and is inspired by trendy Dubai chocolate. The equivalent of around 118 francs is charged for a whole cake.
In order to get hold of one of the limited editions, many customers waited in line for hours.
The cake was already a bestseller in 2025 and is now being offered again. He gained additional fame through the South Korean singer Jang Won-young.
Images and videos of the dessert spread quickly on social networks, further fueling the hype.
While the rush in Taiwan was enormous, it was largely absent in Hong Kong.
