Donald Trump’s recent public appearances have once again sparked rumors about his health. At the presentation of a Medal of Honor at the White House, the US President presented a large rash on the right side of his neck. The redness was already noticeable in mid-February, but has since increased significantly in size and shape.

The president has been using a cream for a week and the rash is expected to last for a few weeks, Trump’s doctor, Dr. Sean Barbabella. It is not the first time that Barbabella has had to comment on the US President’s health. Since the beginning of Donald Trump’s second term in office, the anomalies have become more and more frequent.
In February 2025shortly after the inauguration, the US President is spotted for the first time with makeup on his hand.
Mid-July 2025 Donald Trump notices his swollen ankles. A few days later, the White House released a statement saying that the president was suffering from chronic venous insufficiency. This causes blood to collect in the legs and cannot be pumped back to the heart. This often affects older people who stand or sit a lot. According to experts at Cleveland Hospital the disease is progressive and chronic. It requires lifelong treatment – for example through increased exercise and/or support stockings. Trump has already tried the latter. But according to his own statements, he doesn’t like her.

A month later, in August 2025a major bruise on Trump’s right hand is causing so much discussion that the White House once again feels compelled to make a statement. The dark spot is a minor skin irritation. It comes from «lots of handshakes». When Trump meets with Vladimir Putin in Alaska, he shows obvious problems walking straight on the red carpet.

Democrat Sydney Kamlager-Dove believes she can put the individual pieces of the puzzle together and suggested in an X post at the beginning of December that Donald Trump was secretly being treated with the Alzheimer’s drug Leqembi. Leqembi wird wiederholt per Infusion verabreicht (normalerweise in den Arm), es kann schläfrig machen – und weil es zu Hirnschwellungen führen kann, werden Hirnscans empfohlen.
On the 1st January 2026 reports that Wall Street Journal in detail about Trump’s health – and mentions that he takes 325 milligrams of aspirin daily. Without specifying, Donald Trump tells the Finanzblatt that there is “a reason” why he consumes so much aspirin. He is a little superstitious and has been swallowing so much aspirin for 25 years. He wanted “beautiful, thin blood” to be pumped through his heart. Doctors advised him to reduce the dose. Trump refused.
According to the renowned Mayo Clinic, 325 milligrams is the upper limit for daily aspirin doses. The Wall Street Journal also reports that Trump has hearing problems – which he denies. The “Wall Street Journal” also addresses the MRI from October. It was a computer tomography scan – and not an MRI, they suddenly say.

On January 22, 2026 Donald Trump signs contracts for his Board of Peace during the WEF. He is again noticed with a massive bruise on his hand. The handshake theory falls apart – the print is on his left hand.
He later claimed to a CNN reporter on Air Force One that he hit the top of a table. “I have a little – what do you call it? – Put cream on it. But I opened it,” he explains.
What’s more to talk about in the Swiss mountains: During his hour-long speech he mumbles various words and repeatedly confuses Greenland with Iceland. Spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt defends the outbursts by saying that Trump alluded to the fact that Greenland is, in principle, simply a land of ice.
Donald Trump’s thin skin is well known – but the fact that things are so bad for him is new. There were already signs of this in 2024. At the Republican National Convention, Donald Trump gave Attorney General-designate Pam Bondi a high five. Bondi’s huge finger ring was too much for Trump’s skin. He tore it open – and Donald Trump had to be treated for bleeding. The US President will be 80 years old on June 14th.
