At least 15 people have died in a plane crash in Bolivia. The Bolivian Air Force’s military aircraft came off the runway during landing and was completely destroyed, the daily newspaper “El Deber” reported, citing the fire department. Dozens of injured people were taken to hospitals. According to initial reports, around 15 vehicles were damaged or destroyed at the scene of the accident.

“Among the affected vehicles are minibuses, private cars and even a tractor-trailer that were hit when the plane crashed in the area. “Some vehicles were crushed into a pile of scrap, and there are dead people among the rubble,” La Razón quoted national fire department director Pavel Tovar as saying. He therefore did not rule out the possibility that the death toll could rise. The cause of the accident was initially unknown.
