The European Commission said Thursday that member states will be able to tap into a social fund to help women access safe abortion care. This comes after a “My Voice, My Choice” campaign called on the bloc to create a funding mechanism to help women from EU countries with severe restrictions on abortion to undergo the procedure elsewhere.
