According to the newspaper “Verdens Gang”, an ex-girlfriend of Marius Borg Høiby reported violence and aggression in the relationship in the trial against the son of the Norwegian Crown Princess.
“I have the feeling that Marius has two faces,” said the influencer in court. «There is the sweet clown who jokes around a lot and is very funny. “He was my best friend, whom I really loved,” said the Norwegian. “And then there was Marius, with whom I couldn’t communicate, whose eyes went completely black.” When she saw this change, she became very afraid: “I didn’t know what would happen next.”

The influencer was with Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s son from a previous relationship from 2022 to 2023. During this time, the couple also lived together in different places. Høiby is said to have choked his girlfriend at the time several times, threatened her, kicked her, threw objects and shouted at her. “It feels like there’s a pit bull standing right in front of you,” the woman said, according to “Verdens Gang.”
The ex-girlfriend said he usually freaked out when someone confronted him about something – “either when I heard rumors of infidelity, when he was mad at me because he said I was acting like a damn whore, or when I took his phone.”
Høiby has been on trial in Oslo since the beginning of the month. He is charged with 38 counts, including four counts of rape under Norwegian law, domestic violence and assault. (sda/dpa)
