Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin’s confidant, Kirill Dmitriyev, has rejected suspicions that the Russian secret service was involved in the Epstein scandal as a lie. “The desperate, depraved and lying left elites are panicking and trying to mislead,” he wrote on the X platform.
Desperate, depraved, lying leftist elites panic and try to misdirect. The world is tired of your lies and sees through them. Your cabal and fake propaganda machine have been exposed.
Endgame for depraved and frequently Satanic liberal elites. https://t.co/nmB34teEa4

But the world is tired of the lies of “satanic liberal elites” and can see through them. He was commenting on allegations by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk that sex offender Jeffrey Epstein had connections to Russian intelligence.

While Dmitriev rejected suspicions about a lead to Russia, he speculated in other posts on X about Epstein’s connections to the Nobel Prize Committee, among others. The man who was responsible for US President Barack Obama being unexpectedly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 was a frequent guest of Epstein, he claimed. He also thinks he sees a trace of Epstein behind the overthrow of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in 2014.
For years, Epstein ran an abuse ring that victimized dozens of girls and young women. He died in custody in 2019. Dmitriyev is Russia’s chief negotiator in talks with the USA. He has reportedly developed good relations with Donald Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff. The Epstein scandal has been weighing on the White House for months. (hkl/sda/dpa)
