The people were arrested for assault, possession of offensive weapons and other public order offenses, police said on Saturday.
When anti-immigration demonstrators clashed with counter-demonstrators, “significant unrest” occurred.
Unverified videos on online services showed scuffles between the two groups near Glasgow city center. Police, including mounted officers, intervened, as seen in the videos. Protesters on both sides wore masks.
