Federal President Guy Parmelin is currently visiting the USA for the World Cup. There he not only supports the Swiss national football team, but also receives tours of various US companies. Among other things, he was invited to NASA’s headquarters in Houston on Monday (local time).
There he was able to speak on the phone with four astronauts who are currently on the International Space Station. The Federal President was also allowed to ask questions, including one that is probably personally close to his heart. Watch the conversation in the video:

Parmelin’s journey has already taken him to Silicon Valley and San Francisco. After a short trip to Vancouver, Canada, to watch the Swiss national team’s round of 16 game, he traveled back to the USA.
According to a post on the Federal President’s Instagram account, he has already traveled to Mexico to watch Switzerland’s round of 16 game this evening. (nib)
