The attacks came just one night after the massive combined air raid on the capital Kiev. The death toll there has now risen to 30. As the birthplace of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and an important industrial site, Kryvyi Rih is often the target of Russian attacks. A rocket attack in 2025 killed 19 people and injured more than 70. The rocket hit next to a children’s playground. (leo/sda/dpa)
