Two attackers shot at participants in a Jewish Hanukkah celebration on Sydney’s popular Bondi Beach on Sunday, killing 15 people. Several dozen injured people were still being treated in hospitals.
“After this horrific attack, it is more important than ever that the Jewish community in New South Wales knows that they are not alone,” said the state’s leader, Chris Minns, according to Australian media reports. (sda/dpa)
