Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway is being prepared for a lung transplant. The Norwegian palace announced this.

“We are approaching the point at which a lung transplant will be necessary and are making the necessary preparations so that this can then be carried out,” the palace said in an official statement. The exact time has not yet been determined.
