Reality star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian caused a stir in the latest episode of “The Kardashians”. In the episode that aired on Thursday, she questioned the moon landing while also showing her interest in conspiracy theories.
In the episode, Kim Kardashian mentions an article in which Buzz Aldrin is supposed to talk about the most frightening moment of the lunar expedition. Aldrin was the second person to walk on the moon after Neil Armstrong. The article cited supposedly contains the following quote from Aldrin: “There was no frightening moment because it didn’t happen. It could have been frightening, but it wasn’t because it didn’t happen.” Where exactly this should be located remains unclear.
Shortly afterwards, Kardashian said in an interview that she often deals with conspiracy theories. She then tells a producer that she definitely thinks the moon landing never happened.
NASA boss counters and invites Kardashian
Shortly after the broadcast, Nasa boss Sean Duffy wrote on X in a post tagging Kardashian: “Yes, we have been to the moon… 6 times! And even better: NASA Artemis is returning under the leadership of President Donald Trump. We won the last space race – and we will win this one too.”
Wait…. what’s the tea on 3I Atlas?!?!!!!!!!?????

Kardashian responded to the post and wanted to know more about the Artemis mission as well as comet 3I Atlas. The NASA boss then explains to her the meaning of the project name and adds with a wink: “No aliens. No danger to life here on earth.”
Great question!@NASA‘s observations show that this is the third interstellar comet to pass through our solar system. No aliens. No threat to life here on Earth.
3 = the third
I = interstellar, meaning from beyond our solar system
ATLAS = discovered by our Asteroid… https://t.co/StDNRqvRCJ— NASA Acting Administrator Sean Duffy (@SecDuffyNASA) October 30, 2025
He goes on to write that he loves her enthusiasm for the Artemis mission to the moon and took the opportunity to invite Kardashian to the upcoming Artemis launch at the Kennedy Space Center. It is not yet known whether she accepted the invitation. (fake)
