In pictures and a video you can see the 22-year-old holding a sign that says: “I support the prisoners of Palestine Action. I reject genocide.” The police officially announced the arrest of a 22-year-old without giving a name. The group’s protest, which also saw the arrest of a man and another woman, was at an insurance company in central London. “This morning around 7 a.m. a building (…) was damaged with hammers and red paint,” the police said.
In recent weeks, members of the organization have been repeatedly arrested in Great Britain. Some are said to be on hunger strike. Palestine Action was designated as terrorist by the British government in early July after activists invaded an air force base and sprayed paint on Royal Air Force planes. (dab/sda/dpa)
