Four young people were killed in a traffic accident in Collonges, France, on Friday evening. The car is said to be registered in Switzerland, as the public prosecutor’s office in Bourg-en-Bresse announced on Saturday.

The two young women and men, whose formal identification was still in progress, were very young. One person may have been a minor, the prosecutor’s office told AFP.

Shortly after 10:30 p.m., the car left the road at a roundabout in the municipality of Collonges in the Ain department in the border area with Switzerland and then burst into flames. According to police, an investigation has been launched. (sda/afp)
