At a meeting in the Hague, 35 countries signed up to an international commission to compensate Ukraine for hundreds of billions of dollars in damage from Russia’s ongoing war. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s president Zelenksyy says proposals negotiated with US officials in Berlin this week to end Russia’s war in Ukraine could be finalized within days.
